On Women's Day PM Tweeted About The Lady He Is Inspired From

On this occasion of International Women’s Day, Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted about a 106- year old woman who inspired him in every step of life. He also addressed others to “write about some women's who inspire you”. Kunwar Bai, living in Chhattisgarh, sold all her goats, an only source of livelihood for her to build a toilet in her village for the villagers. The very first toilet in the village costs Rs. 22,000 was built in 15 days. "Her contribution towards a Swachh Bharat can never be forgotten. I am deeply inspired by her noble gesture," shared PM Modi. "I will always cherish the time when I had the opportunity to seek Kunwar Bai's blessings during one of my visits to Chhattisgarh," he added. PM Modi will be addressing today in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu to make a mark on the start of National Nutrition Mission, which aims to reduce under-nutrition and low birth weight, which brings down anaemia among the young children, women and adolescent girls and to reduce the prevalence of stunting among children." The initiative will also include the expansion of the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ Movement.
