July 16th, 2017 | OTHERRecently a case has been brought to the attention of the health department on Friday as a sixteen year old boy was tested positive for dengue. He is the 19th person of the city to have caught dengue. Likewise, a thirteen year old boy has been tested positive for dengue. The boy had the fever and his condition was becoming by every moving day after which he was brought to medical attention by admitting in King George Medical University trauma center. His condition only deteriorated as no medicine worked on him then he was tested for dengue. He was tested positive by the KGMU's virology laboratory. This created a chaotic situation and the health department took required steps like the inspection to drive for mosquito breeding conditions and put out the notice for 11 spots out of 16. These 11 spots were found to be creating a favorable environment for mosquitoes to breed included the police station and circle office of police in Aishbagh, police station Bazar Khala, State Ayurvedic College and hospital, a deaf and mute children's school and a few other schools and colleges.
