Massive negligence in a hospital of Mathura in UP, a 6 year old infant who underwent a surgery was left with a needle in his head by the doctors.
The parents of Bansi claimed that the doctors left their needle in their son’s head. However, the private hospital where the surgery was done has denied any the news. According to sources, after Bansi underwent a surgery, he started complaining of a severe headache. His father then opened the bandage and noticed what seemed like a “sharp object” in his son’s head. He immediately approached the authorities of the private hospital where Bansi had undergone surgery. Owner of KD Medical College, Manoj Agarwal, while admitting that the boy underwent surgery at his hospital for a head injury, refuted allegations of negligence.
The boy’s father Dauji Dayal said, Bansi had sustained serious head injuries on February 15 while he was playing at home. He was taken to KD Medical College in Mathura, where doctors had put 13 stitches on his head and discharged him the next day after prescribing some medicines and injections.
“Since then, Bansi has undergone two dressings. The private hospital authorities admitted their mistake and offered to treat my son free of cost, besides promising to reimburse the entire money spent on his treatment,” said Dayal.
CMO Tyagi said, “I have ordered a detailed check-up of the boy at the district hospital. If his parents’ allegations are found to be true, then action will be taken against the hospital authorities concerned.
